Each December I decorate outside -- 4 wreaths with ornaments and bows in the front windows -- and inside before flying to meet the rest of my family in Florida.

I flew to Tampa and arrived early in the evening of Friday, December 21.  My brother and has family arrived a little later from Oakland.  I stayed with my parents in their new apartment at the Sarasota Bay Club, while my brother's family stayed in the old house.  All of us spent most of our days at the new apartment, which turned out to be very convenient for visits to the Science Museum and shopping on Main Street.

Grandpa, Steve, and Evan went out one afternoon and came back with a grand tree.  As usual, Evan made sure that it was decorated efficiently and with style.  Soon the presents began to appear, even though we had promised each other not to buy so many.  Evan's favorites were trucks, Legos, and anything to do with Harry Potter.  I gave as presents tablecloths from Provence that my parents and sister-in-law had requested.
