In October 1998 I bought a house in East Walpole, MA, that was built in 1926.  After researching the question, I believe that the architectural style is properly referred to as "English Revival".  The peaked roof lines, protruding entrance, and oversized brick chimney are all typical features of this style.  It is closely related to the "Tudor" style frequently seen in many parts of the country.  The previous owner updated parts of the interior, particularly the kitchen, but the front of the house remains faithful to the original style.
